An all Volvo family, just like mine now. They traded it in on an S80 T6 in 2002.good deal for you. bad deal for them.that's a super clean 850 man. Really beautiful. Abram Posted December 22, 2007 Report Share Posted December 22, 2007 Wow just wanted to chime in and say this is a totally doable fix. Just finished fixing mine. I broke the plastic casing in several places, but applied liberal amounts of silicon caulk, so it should seal up fine. The caulk is currently setting up with the riverside shakespeare on top to hold it together (Old Will is good for something after all ). I had never soldered anything before attempting this repair and had never taken apart a sealed module, my joints aren't pretty, but apparently they work. Anyways if I can do this anyone can.
