R Bumper

Recommended Posts

This is off a 96' 850R, it did have a small crack and was repaired. I will try to get some pics but right now it is getting ready for paint.

$175+ shipping

This price is in either the Red or Yellow that was Available during the 94-95 850 years. any other color is another $40

I will find out more info on this as I can, I think this is just the lower insert part but I am not sure, I will find out more info asap But I figured I would throw this up for anyone who wanted it to let me know so we can get it painted the proper color if someone wants it. Original paint was black

Shipping will prob not be cheap as it is not really a small item

I will try to get measurements and weight

edited first price, price added for different color than red/yellow as we only have those color paints in stock.

I will get some measurements of the bumper for a box and weight so we can quote shipping. My parter who has the bumper will be back in town sometime next week to help finish this deal, this right now was just to see if there was any interest in it

Ykno over the summer i bought a new R bumper from Viva but its been since sittin in tha garage waiting to be painted. I live in San Francisco & the shops cost an arm & a leg. Most quoted me over $350 to juss paint it w/o matching it to hood/fenders. So this sounds like a great deal =]

I'm interested in getting it painted color #420 (Amethyst). Shipping to 94122? If it's not too much, I'll buy it most likely.

Wait wait... do you still need the bumper? Are you willing to sell it by any chance? I'm in SF, I would like to look at it.

I looked at shipping on eBay and it seems to be around $100 shipping for regular 850 bumpers. R bumper is a little larger, and with paint a littler heavier...but If shipping is under or around $150, I'll take it!

the bumper is going to be painted and clearcoated, correct?

Painted and Clear coated yes

Right now it will be mid to late next week before I can get final pics of the bumper and talk $ and paint. otherwise sometime tomorrow I will go through my PM's and posts here and get a list of those few that wanted it and what colors so we can see who is first and if they want it still

paint it yourself with some spray cans. i painted and clearcoated my rear wing w/ the 12oz spraycans i got from IPD. they sell the color matched paint to your car.

3 cans should do a R bumper.

oh..and my spoiler looks perfect. yes you can do a bodyshop quality paintjob with a rattlecan if you know how to do it, and know how to prep it and spray it in the right conditions.

i painted mine outside on a set of sawhorses on a 90 degree summer day with low humidity, in direct sunlight, and it came out perfect.

prep, conditions and technique are key.

i will respray my scuffed up R bumper this same way, this coming summer.

bodyshops are a ripoff.
