jdlc
1. Are the body panels and doors the same and direct swap across 850s? 2. 93 seems to have different bumper (front), or is it just the black moulding?3. How do you get rid of parted car? Probably would not be taken for free after parting, does it have to be cut apart for disposal, or are there services available, for how much? r850glt
93-94.5 had different headlights, bumpers, fenders, tailights, dash switches, control arms, subframe, center armrest is different, door mouldings, 4 lug hubs and wheels. Seats are interchangeable, but look a bit different.Doors will swap over but mouldings are different. Fender are different and cannot swap over unless you change turn signals, wiring, and headlights.Bumper are different but may also work, I would stick with the newer style 94.5-97 850Just call a local salvage yard they will pick up for free if its worth there while, If not call a Scrap metal guy, he will pick it up. CoRalV70
Id also recommend keeping the 93-94 aluminum Lower Control Arms, as they have a Replaceable balljoint, much cheaper at $12, then dropping $140 for the newer style non-replacable type. Sheetmetal is the same? Also, I see fender in eBay from dismantlers who states that fender is good for 93-97, are they all wrong? Reason I'm asking is, this car I found is the same color as mine, and I have a bad fender that could use replacement. Finally, is the old-style control arm usable for later 850s? That would be cool.
