warrensden Posted January 1, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 1, 2008 any codes? any flashing arrow??hey thanks, no codes no arrows was at local volvo dealer sat and they went over entire car so I would know where we were at, had abs code said need to replace abs breather ? and ecm temp thermostat. and of course $3,500 for prop and angle gear, I did have them flush transmission change oil.oh when I was putting the car on our trailer its a tilt so has incline heard some noise like this one and thats when we found we had a fwb awd car. warrensden Posted January 1, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 1, 2008 Maybe try removing your angle gear and see if the noise continues.hey thanks I'm working on a new one and a new prop shaft, so hopefully that will end this crisis! should have started looking into volvo's before buying to get the in's and out's, you always here how safe they are. would have held out for 03 or 04.I guess the old saying go's true if seems to good a deal it most likely is. bought the car at auction for $2,700 thought the dealers where staying away do to mileage. lol oh well it will all work out my son's will be safer and thats the main goal. Could just go front wheel drive and spend no money144,000 it runs awesome very quite very tight, we wanted the awd as my son's travel 24 miles each way to get to their school, no bus as its a private school. and we live in NH so snow is pretty common.
