Bing_0
being just screens, they can be used with any video source, navigation included, as long as the navi system you are using does not require touch panel operation to work b
850 Stylzz
I will add an air of caution, and why I asked about a possible vga screen. Road names and such will be nearly impossible t oread on a screen that is fed only composite signal. I dont want to bad-mouth or sway you away from what you are looking for, just trying to give you an honest assessment.
Bing_0
i am not quite sure about hte VGA thing, but our screens is basically the same principle as all the screens out on the market that come from car audio manufactures...so check out say pioneer or alpine or kenwood's site and see if their screen fits your needs..as for navi needs, ia m not sure about form a computer, but my avic n1 with the same kind of screen certainly reads road names fine but i assumeyou mean from a computer?b

Gregg
What he means by VGA screens are the high quality screens, like on Eclipse's new AVX2494. Over 1 million total pixels on a 6.5" 16:9 screen. Pretty impressive. I believe this is the only unit that Eclipse has a VGA display, though. So I assume that 280,000 pixels on their navigation units are sufficient, seeing as how the AVN unit looked great when I saw it in person. It made me really want to see how much better the display is on the AVX2494.
