They replaced all the seals timing belt, tune up and hoses. My engine was dismantled so it took them longer than usual. Count on at least $1000-1200.00 at least around my parts.sm
Ihatespeedbumps
Well I assume pulling the 10v is probably the same as pulling the 20v. 20hrs is what we charge...
poot850t
Just curious if I ever have to yank mine. Can it be pulled from the or does the whole subframe need to be dropped to get it out? Why does it take soo long to pull these engine? Wow that crazy, let hope this baby never pops.
Chilled man
Figure two days 12-14hrs to do it yourself. And I think its easier to take it out the top, some think out the bottom. If you have a lift and engine lift then out the bottom ,if all you have is car jacks and a engine lift then out the top

Matts 850 GLT
Thanks for all the posts, I will probably go ahead and have the tranny pulled to replaces the rms and risk it rather than dropping in a replacement motor with unknown history. How likely is the rms to fail once replaced - anyone got any experience?ThanksMatt

sconeman
I added to my post I just got charged for 14 hours plus parts. They replaced all the seals timing belt, tune up and hoses. My engine was dismantled so it took them longer than usual. Count on at least $1000-1200.00. My total install bill plus parts (not including engine which was $750 with 110k) was $1900.00 but I have a friend who just put one in for $1200.00 sm
