True Swede Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 Hello guysNot sure if this is the right place to post this, if it's not I guess the mods will take care of it.I was born and raised in Sweden but in the last 10 years I haven't lived there that much. Due to my profession I have been living a little all over the place including the Caribbean and Africa. About two years ago I decided to move back to Dallas where I attended flight school 11 years ago. Obviously there are a lot of good things about the US, but naturally there are some things i miss from home. Like good roads (Dallas roads sucks) and the lack of cops trying to bust your ba!!s for speeding. Anyhow, from what I understand I am not the only native Swede on this board and it would be fun to see how many of us there is out there. Maybe even enough to set up a Swedish Crew.By the way, I am a proud owner of a black -98 S70 T5 (auto ) which I so far have left alone but am now considering doing some mods to it. Nothing really big since it's my only car at the moment, but stuff like suspension, ecu upgrade and a few cosmetic improvements.So all (if any) fellow Swedes on VS make yourself known and we'll go from there..Ha det så bra så länge..True Swede Ps I am actually going back to Sweden on Friday for two weeks. Spent a lot of time in Norway (Hemsedal) skiing as a kid so I understand Norwegian fairly well.. I'll give you guys one thing, your mountains kick our little hill's a$$.. They are running about $90 over there. Nothing heavy though.
