irf
i have a momo corse steering wheel that i wanna put on the car. problem is i ordered a momo hub(part number 9018) that was supposed to be for a non airbag 850. the bore of it was too small to fit. can anything be done? i know one of the U.K guys has one but he cant remember exactly what boss/hub he put in, wether it was from a volvo 700/900 etc. thought i might get luckier here.any help would be appreciated guys :)

irf
thanks for that che, have to admit doing the welding etc is totally out of my comfort zone if you like. also, if i'm not mistaken that would make it a permanent thing whereas i would prefer to be able to take it off if and when necessary.quite surprised that others haven't changed their steering wheel, really improves the feel.why on earth there isnt a friggin bolt on hub/boss i cant understand. The reason more do not do this is, with the power rack left unchanged you really did not alter the steering at all. All you really do is increase the risk of slinging your brain through the AC vents. I would never have a steel wheel in any car without 5 point harnesses.
