TorqueSteer
Ummm yea they do benVideo of Corvette stock running 10.85You must be confused, the video linked to here shows a Z06 Corvette, not a standard C6. Until the Zr1, comes out, Chevrolet produces the "base" model C6 corvette, as well as a high performance Z06. People in the corvette world refer to a C6 as the standard model and refer to the Z06 as simply a Z06. From reading your original comment that a C6 runs in the 10's, one would infer that it is the standard model C6 and not a Z06.

And I still don't consider a car with drag radials stock.SRT4s are lighter and already have LSD.They actually dont. The car uses a brake-based system that sort of mimics what an LSD would do, though. northmiler89
Ummm well there is another guy that just broke high 10.93 bone stock on stock tire..... plenty of people running 11.1's so it's not like its just ONE driveryou know that i was agreeing with you right? I was laughing because he made it seem like no one can drive a vette better than this one dude! SRT4s are lighter and already have LSD. So what I was saying, it get the C30 even with the SRT4.wrong. c30 weighs ~50 pounds lessThey actually dont. The car uses a brake-based system that sort of mimics what an LSD would do, though.Yup! I really cant see it working close to as well as a true LSD in higher power situations..im sure it is ok stock, but from the reviews i have read, the torque steer is just filthy and it still lights them up. But they also say the ms3 has ALOT of torque steer stock..and my na s80 torque steers more than the mazda did stock.

It's been posted on this board several times.Edit: Here is a link to autoblogs post."Jamie Furman and his C6 Z06 running on the stock Goodyear F1 EMT run flat tires hit 10.98 at 129 mph in the 1320. The run was validated by a track official to achieve the record for quickest mass production vehicle.""After hitting the 10s on the stock tires he threw on a set of drag radials to see what would happen. He hit 10.83 at 130 mph, breaking the previous drag radial standard of 10.85."http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/05/10-seco...6-on-run-flats/There is also a post from the owner/driver on a corvette forums somewhere.
