scandalo
Wow never cease to amaze me. I bet the TB guys were drooling over the sight of a M90. That flatbed is very mint and this should be a very cool project. Will it get a SD(x) designation or have you formulated a name for it already ? JCviggen
Will it get a SD(x) designation or have you formulated a name for it already ? DDT I believe...try and figure that one out without going to nordicturbo.nl

Johann
hmmm, demon transport, so maybe Deutsche Demon Transport given Opel is German? Dämon Spock stage Eleventy clutch added, And a GT3987 I believe it was but I can only read the T3 part.. Just testing some options, don't know which turbo and manifold is going to be used. Haven't been abler to find any pics of that, and ATP hasn't answered my email :(
Johann
This is a P1 manifold. Posted a picture of the 850 manifold in another thread.

Hi Johann I saw that - but there's no pics I can find online of the 850 version with a turbo attached - it's hard to see how the compressor outlet isn't going to hit the #5 runner... It's not an issue with this project and a compressor housing can be rotated. Added to that I'm leaning toward a completely stock Volvo setup for this project now because the whole setup is intended to use less power than a stock T5 engine.. Turbo can stay the FWD way. Engine will be in the lower RPM region most of the time and I think will be running closed loop Lambda as much as possible also. Even considering a 2.5" downpipe instead of 3". I'm assuming this is for your Opel Truck - since it appears to be set for RWD/longitudinal installation - I was really curious to see pics of the ATP 850 manifold in an AWD/FWD install - as I can't see how the compressor outlet isn't going to be an issue, along with the oil drain.... ATP still hasn't replied to my email :(
Johann
You can rotate everything. The compressor will stick out slightly from the number 5 runner. Rotate the compressor toward the firewall and your all set. Don't make it harder than it is... :D
Spanky
SO how does the IS-F compare to all the Volvo's in your stable? What do you like both more and less when comparing the Lexus to Volvo? Does the 8-speed suite the car well? Out of all the newer cars I like the IS series body more then any other ;)
