Noahkk19
HOW would I go about making my car run more accordingly? New alternator? Let me explain...First of all sometimes I get the dead gauges when I come to a stop and once the car starts to move the gauges go back to what they normally should be. But that's already been discussed. What makes me really wonder if MOST of my problems could be electrical is the fact that today I had to just sort of get up and go because I was late to school not allowing my car time to warm up. I stayed easy on the pedal, but what happened was my car would not shift out of first (Most likely beacuse of speed sensor), and I put it in position "3" later on down the road, and my arrow letting me know that I was in a lower gear did not come UNTIL the revs got to about 3,000rpm, anything below that and it was blank. Eventually I got my tranny warning light, pulled off to the side of the road, reset the light, try to start the car, no start. I wait about 5 minutes, and the car starts up fine and has driven fine for the rest of the day. Sometimes my car will just not start for no apparent reason after some slow driving?? But it will ALWAYS start after about 5 minutes of letting it sit? Something just tells me I have a bad electrical current or something. Anyone want to try to put their finger on the problem? Bay13
GuessesIgnition switchAlternatorbatteryhave your alternator and battery load tested. Clean connections on the battery, feel the positive cable after about 5 minutes after starting if it's hot/warm it has a bad connecdtion.
