Well, only bad thing about doing that is that for the time your car is of and starting, you have no vacuum break assist or power steering. (that not me in the youtube video.)it would be 5 to 10 MPH offthen did not work or get stuckalmost got a ticket (for speeding)got a new speedo and fix it for now.just installed it 1 hour ago. Guest 850T-5 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 I've heard shut off your car while driving and restarting can actually be bad for the catalytic converter. If I remember correctly I think I've also seen this in some owner's manual where it advised NOT to do that.
