jl2
Because the sheathing is cracked, I need to change the rubber brake line (caliper to steel line) on a 2000 S80. There is an inverted-U shaped clip that appears to be holding one end through a bracket. Because the fitting looks corroded, I am reluctant to put too much pressure on it. Do I need to remove the clip-thing before attempting to turn the fitting? Is there anything special I need to loosen the fitting besides 2 14mm flare-nut wrenches? Thanks.
