lookforjoe
How many miles on the car?If you feel comfortable doing the job, it looks to me like something the car probably needs - judging from that plugged port, routine oil changes weren't part of it's previous owner's plan... 850Stud
120k are on the car now... ehhh thats the last thing I wanted to hear about .!!If anything ill most likely bring it to the volvo/german auto place my family always goes to and have them do the PCV . My sister just bought an S60 from them so they shouldn't kill me on labor Oh yeah, in the diagram Dmsee posted , where exactly does that red (#20) hose go b/c i honestly cant find the spot? And is there any chance that the metal line could be #18 from the PCV diagram?I just wanna get the BCS lines and the lines from the turbo hooked back up and then do my damn fuel pump and drive this thing to the shop before anymore harm is done! And again Thanks for all the help!! 850Stud
alright , well i think i might of sorta figured out the metal line thing. i was looking at a PCV write up and stumbled upon this pic..EVAP carbon filtering system hose (A)and the turbo vacuum gauge (B )So i gather B is what that metal line was, but idk why that metal line would be in there altogether since it should just go right to the crap below the throttle body. And i dont even have the EVAP carbon filtering system hose ....just the mount....what the hellill have to check for an air pump when i get back from class today....
