tallahasseegreys
Every 2 weeks I have to "temporarily" fix my driver's side wiper according to the instructions provided in bay 13. Is there a PERMANANT fix?

Bay13
Buy a new armTake the arm and put it in a vice and bend it, caution it's cast so it could snap.
icelandic
If you take your wiper arm out, observe the articulation at the end of the cast part. You will notice that there is a stop on the cast part that prevents the arm to move closer to windshield when it is getting close to the vertical position. It was designed this way because the original wipers were higher (from rubber blade to articulation point, where it meets the arm). I solved the problem in my car by carefully filing down the stop. Never had to replace the arm. My car has 150K on it and wipers work perfectly. Hope it helps.Luis
