Evap System?

[I hate haters]

Went to buy gas yesterday and it took forever to fill up the tank. The tank was practically empty, so when it got closer to about 14 gallons in the tank the pump started shutting off prematurely. Did anyone have this problem?

I imagine it has something to do withe the EVAP system in the car. I did a search, but couldn't find anything related to a slow fill up. Most evap topics have to do with the purge valve and vac lines related to it. I will test the valve this Sunday to see if it holds vacuum, but was wondering if anyone has any other ideas that I could use. I have no CEL and last I checked there were no codes.
