jb242gt
I just picked up a '00 V70 with 162k on the clock and a ton things going wrong. The first problem is the right rear window will not work. Neither drivers nor door switch will do a thing. I pulled the panel just to find a PO screwed with it already. I ran a few tests and found the motor is getting power when using the drivers panel switch. The window is not jammed. The motor makes no sound. I cleaned the door switch contacts just for good measure... My inital thought is a failed motor. Any suggestions? Also the PO ripped the door panels off with a vengence and broke off all the plastic stands which are glued to the panel and hold the clips. Anybody know where to get the plastic stands? Thanks

MrWinkey
Honestly I have yet to see motor failure on one of these. However I'm sure it's possible. I'm putting my money on the master window switch cluster. Very very common

jb242gt
The master switch was my first thought, but the motor is getting 12 volts when the master switch is activated. Any thoughts?ThanksTurns out the motor was junk... Got a junkyard reg off ebay, slapped it in and we are back in window controlling business!! Slapping it in was interesting to say the least. What I found was to remove the regulator, the window needs to be at least half way down. This is hard to do when the motor doesn't work. The solution was to remove the motor out of the worm gear and gently force the window down into disassembly position. The whole process was not my idea of a good time, but now it is done....
