tenn850 Posted September 17, 2004 Report Share Posted September 17, 2004 I guess this is a question for Modification panel. I wouldn't think it will be easy job, if not impossible. The 98 and on models S70/V70 have somehow different connections and peripherals from the 850. Electrical parts would be tough to match.For instance I found out the hard way that the microchip on the back of the 95 model instrument cluster is programmed differently than other models. You need to know what ECU is used on both, The 1998 uses a Motronic 4.4, not sure what the choices are on the 1996, M4.4 is one of them.
