mikus
Above looks like all sedan solutions... I'm about to drop one in a wagon. The 3rd seat area (the 2nd tray, further away from the hatch) is perfect-sized but heat/lack of circulation concerns me. Was thinking of under the pass. seat as well. Anybody have comments/thoughts on either? Thanks

mikus
looks like it's mounted on the door of the shelf area, ie, on the flap you lift up, facing down?If that's what we're seeing and it's working for you I'm sold on that location. Upside-down amps can't dissapate heat as well (not beating up your install spot, just observing) so a lay-flat install should do fine. And there's always a 12V PC fan if not... It's not a huge amp - Chupacabra has two 500W amps in the same location - I'd ask him if it's exhibited any heat issues.

NW T5R
If not already done or the amp has built in fans I would install some fans on a thermal switch/relay otherwise the amp may be damaged.
