Hey, hello, been wondering, how are the s60 kits coming along?

Anxiously waiting 4 blue

Regards, Oliver Bozinoski. ;)

They are still in the works. We are slightly behind with other custom kits that we are making for exclusively for some of our wholesale customers.

could you make a Charge Air set for the S80/T6 (assuming price is not a problem)? what would you do for the lower IC hose with the temp/boost sensors on it?

It could all be done. But we have not seen enough demand for the S80 to rcoup the investment in tooling and temp/boost sensors. The sensor would have to be built into the hose.

yeah that's about what i thought. what about tooling for the upper hoses? or something less ugly than the plastic Charge Air pipes.

Sorry, It was more a blanket statement for the S80 in general. There just is not the demand to put together any of the custom hoses for the S80.

well, i would have asked for a one off custom quote but you don't seem interested.

You would be looking at $300-800 per hose, and that is just for the tooling. Then there would be a minimum of 25 units of each hose. The lower hose with the sensor would have a 100 piece minimum. If you would like a more detailed quote send a quote request with a OEM hose for each piece to us.

Not that we are not interested but we get dozens of such requests each week from individuals. And well none of them ever order. We do several kits on our own as you can see from our site. But we also manufacture custom hoses for several other comapanies as well as different industries. Did not mean to sound indifferent.

thank you for a more detailed accounting of the costs associated with the request. i'm not one to balk at expensive high quality parts (it's all i buy). i would consider those costs plus whatever the lower hose may cost if i'm only expected to pay for a single hose each. naturally if i have to buy the whole minimum lot, it's not a sustainable exercise. i'll look at the stock hoses for fitments with your stock components and get back to you with a PM. thanks again for clearing it up for me.
