Xm Is Out

My XM is no longer working. I have both the in-car receiver/antenna and a poratble Delphi. My portable is fine so it is not a terminated servcie issue. It seems as if the input for the XM is completley gone. I don't even get the 1-800- ..... number, etc, signal. The only source options are regular radio and CD, its a two year old pioneer deck. I have no idea how to take it out. My guess is that the wire from the dash mounted antenna is cut or the input has come out the back of the receiver/deck?

How do I take out the deck? Do I need a special tool? What do you all think the problem is? Again, I'm a stereo noob. I will take pictures later.

Thanks.

Or more likely you blew a fuse somewhere (most of those pieces use an external fuse just for the xm box)

There are pioneer radio removal keys (just kind of a flat piece of metal and theres 2 one on each side) stop by a CC or BB and ask them, most have many laying around.

Where would the fuse be located, in my main box under the hood? My Volvo manual should point me to it, right?

The description of your XM setup is that you have both a portable Delphi, and a direct connect Pioneer XM tuner box to your Pioneer radio in the dash. Pioneer XM tuner boxes usually have a reset button that I would check before anything else. Just use a paper clip or a pen to depress the button. If you did not know where the box is located, just follow the XM antenna cable. If you had the Pioneer manual it would show if your model had this feature.

I just mentioned the Delphi so I wouldn't get a question about having service, they are not both hooked up together on the same unit. I'll look for the reset button. Thanks.

Any help on which fuse # would have blown and where to find it? I'm guessing it is on my fuse box under the hood.
