hgray14
My new T-5R seems to have a lot of moisture in the trunk. Does anyone know what would cause this?Houston
drin850
could be caused by the plant growing out of your drain tube. that hole right there, it drains the water and if its clogged like yours is, then the water is just gonna stay up there. TBM
For the love of Volvo, clean your car. Clean it up good and then see if it's still doing it.
hgray14
Oh come on.... I figured you Volvo guys would get a kick out of that. I know why there is moisture in the trunk...the tubes are clogged. And as far as keeping my car clean...I stated that I just bought. I haven't even begun to clean this one up yet but that is one of the places where I start.Houston

hgray14
When the guy I bought the car from said not only had the car been sitting for a year or two but was sitting with the noise pointed downhill...and there was water in the car I knew I would find clogged drain tubes. The plant growing in there just sent the point home that this car hasn't been disturbed in any way since he parked it.by the by...what does it mean if the Check Engine light is flashing? I have never seen that before. The engine may be fried in this thing, although it starts up just fine when I jump it. I has no plates so I can't take it for a test drive yet but I got it primarily for the IPD parts...if it is a salvageable car that will be a bonus.Houston
Chilled man
 My understanding is that its a repeated error or a serious engine error. It had been happening in the 98GLT we bought and now find out it needs a valve job. previous owner/mech replaced one valve yes not one set of valves just one
NoodleKnight
IIRC a flashing CEL means misfire.
Gilhuly
I got a pretty good chuckle out of that post after I looked at the pic. Nice punchline.
