What Are 850r Bumpers Made Out Of?

Project: Grafting 850R cover onto the 960. Problem: I have this old and busted 850R bumper thats polyurethane (marked >PUR<). That's all fine and good, I'm under the impression my 960 bumper is also PUR (although recent events require me to pull that apart and check). My dad recently bought a maybe-brand-new normal 850 bumper. It's a Volvo part, but it's polypropylene/epdm (>PP-EPDM< , obviously)! My original intention was to buy a bumper from vivaperformance, but they have the listed as "ABS", which I'm really suspect of, assuming its a Volvo part, and even if it isn't, that's an awfully rigid plastic to make a bumper cover out of. So firstly, does anyone know what VP bumpers are really made out of? Is it an aftermarket non-Volvo part that isn't a flexible plastic? Are all new VOlvo bumpers pp/epdm? Cause that would suck.

Why don't you find out from viva what their suppliers use and if its polypropylene ot polyurethane. Maybe PM George and find out.

It's all sunlight and dead dinosuars in the end.

Alright, talked to him a couple days ago. They're genuine Volvo from the dealer, but he's not sure what plastic they are. So hey, anyone with a new bumper wanna stick their head under their car and check? The label is cast into the plastic near the drivers side, close to the bottom.
