Do you have to ask for the coffee cup or do they just throw it in with a big order?

...Lee

I think they just throw it in, I certainly didn't ask for it. I almost broke it when I opened the box. It was in a UPS envelope so I just threw it on the floor, but you know, Volvo cups don't break that easily. :D

Please tell me you are kidding.

Hope you clicked the link, yup $850 bones for a very adjustable CA. I think it goes well with Ben's coilovers and strut mounts.

Anyone that's been around this board for awhile is familiar with Ben's ugly control arms. They may be innovative, but completely overkill for the average daily-driver or even periodic track car on this board, even if you have the money to pay the ridiculous price tag. Any of the adjustablility on them will be useless to most, as the average alignment shop will not even touch them as part of an alignment. The only benefit to them is the serviceable ball joint, at which it is still more worth it to replace my control arms every 40k-50k miles when a balljoint goes bad.

so everything is shipped free if over $50 and ALL are OEM parts?

I to went to http://www.thevolvopartsclub.com to check prices on parts. the first time i check on parts it showed a shipping charge, But when i signed up as a customer with my shipping address the shipping changed to NO SHIPPING Charge.

So i called them to ask them why i was been charged a shipping charge for a order over $50.00. I was told

" In less your singed in with a users name and password the site will only qoute a order with a shipping charge"

I then stated well i dont like to be put on spam email lists when you sign up on a site that you might not buy from, I was told.

" We only use email adress for Official patrs club business, and right now we dont even offer a News letter so in less you ask a question by email or palce a order we will not email you, and We dont Sell, Give or Rent out the email address for spam or other NON Parts club business."

So i am going to give them a try i have order some oil filters with drain rings this was on Friday the 18th i was told the items would ship out on monday the 21st i palced the order about 4:30pm or so. I asked why the order would not get out till monday was told.

"Last shipment was at 2pm est." I said ok i understood monday would be ok. So now i will wait till it shows up

Do the control arms for $86 from Volvo Parts Club come with the ball joint as shown in the picture? It doesn't look it does on the website...

if you buy a control arm for a later model, yes it will have the abll joint. I think the cutoff is mid-95 then on through 97; for sure a 96 has the ball joint.
