SWM
I bought a corner light for my 98 S70 from someone online, and it arrived broken. conveniently, the broken pieces are the ones that hold the corner in, that little latch protrusion. Soooo, i don't have any super glue on hand, but does anyone suspect the super glue would hold this latch part in place or am i SOL? the one part, broke in two pieces. Looks to me like ill just have to ante up for a new one, but i have nothing to lose but an already broken corner light so i think ill try.

SWM
on the underside of the corner, the side the bulb assembly plugs into, there is a little spring loaded clip which engages to the front end of the car when you put it on the vehicle. it appears to be the only thing holding it in position, aside from the little guides

What you're describing sounds like there isn't alot of area for the stuff to work with but you might be able to build it up enough to hold. Mix it up and let it sit for a few minutes until it starts to set and then apply it, it might just work.
SWM
JB Weld, forgot about that stuff, ill have to grab some. yes, VERY little surface area to work with here, but we'll see.

Let the JB set up a bit before you apply it.I just noticed your location, I was up at Salem State today for lunch and a dorm\campus tour for my next in line to school...nice area. SWM
eh, it has its nicer sections, the salem state area is really what youd expect, any college campus area to be. there are some nice neighborhoods, and the downtown area is cleaning up well over the last years. SWM
in checking out the other JB products, i wonder if a small amount of the JB Stik would do it too...might hold the pieces together better like clay while it cures...http://jbweld.net/products/jbstik.php
KlausC
I tried that with my V70. Sevveral days later, the corner light fell out while doing about 70mph. It banged the heck out of my fender and then snapped the wires and fell off.Get another one.
