Justin21x
Not sure if this is an option you'd consider, but I had a self powered Infinity Basslink installed in the back of my V70. It's a self contained unit that houses a 10" sub w/ a 200W class D amp. I mounted it to the floor between the lift gate and the wheel well on the left side. I still had access to my 3rd row seats and spare tire, and could take it out in under 3 minutes if I NEEDED the extra room or was handling wet stuff. My door and dash speakers were in decent enough shape, but just needed the boost on the low end. Just an option and my $0.02.

MyCarIsRed
Leurven, that's probably one of the smartest/best looking setups I've seen in a wagon. But I'm almost certain it's out of my budget, all my money mostly goes into performance mods so the stereo always gets the leftovers. I also use the seat-folding function a lot so I don't think this would work in my case anyways. I'd like to keep everything under the cargo covers like it already is.I've always been a fan of the old self-powered bazooka tubes. They run at like 2ohm and dont draw much power - i run mine with a 5a fuse that never blows. Ok they look a little ghetto (i cover mine with a blanket...) but it fits to the left of the cargo hatch opening, and you can remove it in like 2 seconds if you need the space. All the sub-in-the-floor setups i've seen other than the factory one require removing your spare. Hardly a good option for a dd. You can get one for $100 or so. No amp kit needed, just wire and connectors. You'll never win an audio competition with em, and you're not going to show it off, but it works pretty damn well for what it is.edited for syntax... EVL WAGN
I've got a Pioneer single 10 fiberglassed directly into the spare tire and it works awesome! On the AWD Volvos the spare is completely useless so I've given new life to it so to speak...it is very easy to do as well. Get ahold of Fox's Autosound and talk directly to Greg Fox and they should be able to take care of you if you can't do it yourself. He is located just outside of London in Tillsonburg if I remember correctly.I'd post a pic, but I can't remember where I hosted the darn pics again...lololSend me an email to cconnolly@trader.ca and I can send you some pics.BTW... the spare is still there and completely accessible if needed...
