Greek 850 T-5/hopefully Over 340hp.

Since the time I first drove the car,some problems appeared,coolant leak......

I changed the hose for the turbo coolant line,it was fine for some days,today I noticed the one hose that goes in the cab for the heater is leaking and I changed them both in the past,

I borrowed a tool from a friend Volvo technician,to check the timing of the camshafts,and guess what.....The timing belt tensioner was loose.

The belt also.

My upper (the longer) heater hose blew right before I left for the track - thankfully the local dealer keeps it in stock (and it didn't blow when I was two hours away)!

Kimonas, looks like you have made some awesome progress!! So where do you stand now?

Hello my good friend Joseph, :)

For now I made a pause with the car because the workshop is full of trucks and too much job to do.

I have to buy injectors(SIEMENS DEKA 750cc),turbo(GT3071R 0.63A/R-PRECISION),custom software(MTE),and finally exhaust plus some other repairs.

Until now the car has too much lag,maybe it is because the of the 15G with the 60mm core IC,or maybe it has low compression ratio,

glad to hear that you've picked out your turbo. car really looks beautiful and nice job so far!

Just an update,so far I have driven almost 3000km.The car seems to be much stronger although it has stock ECU and turbo.Everything is ok except some issues with uneven idle,next Monday I will send the ecu to Sweden(MTE).I have to relocate the oil temp. sensor because there where it is now,I think that I have wrong readings.

I decided to go with MTE because it seems to be the best,and because Fredrik responded very positive to my e-mails.I can't wait until I will finish the car.I am curious to see what the performance will be,I don't care so much for numbers but for power.Real VOLVO power.
