Cal3thousand
What is the difference, if any, between metal body and plastic body injectors? I have a set of oranges that I bought on eBay (going to have them serviced) and I just looked at mine and they are orange tops, but they have the larger metal body.Any advantages or differences? Cal3thousand
Whats wrong with the injectors that you have? Not sure if anything is wrong. I want to move onto getting my car ready for a larger turbo (16T most likely) and a tune. Want to make sure they all flow together, mostly peace of mind. Cal3thousand
http://z-r-c.com/News/article/sid=32.htmlSo after reading this (thanks btw), I take it that I would need different clips to hold these newer bosch ones in. So should I install the bosch ones and send the original denso ones to the injector shop? Or should I send the ones I just bought and then swap out once I have clips? Keaton85
You are frigin kidding me right? do you realize that this is pretty much pointless. All you are getting is a 16T and a tune, thats nothing big. Plus these injectors are give away parts! The stock turbo injectors are worth pennys. You wont notice a single thing, i will bet on that! Spend your money on something else thats worth while.

If the injectors have never been serviced (or even if they have) then he could easily improve the way it runs out by tuning them up. that's how I interpreted his post: "bought spare injectors to service them and swap into my car"so the question is, which set should he run in his car? I dunno.

This should even improve some of my crappy mpg by making sure that they are all getting the same amount of fuel. Besides, its not like I'm asking about white or green injectors on stock tune. I think I'm in the right range for the power goals I have.
