Guest Lee 1999 V70 2.5 XT Auto Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 Hello,Just bought a second hand 1999 V70 - apparently the radio was working fine until it had a new battery fitted last week. The fuse is blown so I've tried replacing it but as soon as a new one makes contact it blows... any ideas?I've already tried disconnecting the stereo first then inserting the fuse - the fuse then doesn't blow until the radio is plugged back in...??!!??Please help a newby volvo owner.Thanks,Lee Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
turbodog Posted August 23, 2010 Report Share Posted August 23, 2010 not to resurrect an old thread but i have the exact same problem and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions/fixes? i've also tried disconnecting the battery inserting a fuse then re-connecting the battery. the fuse still blows. this is on a 98 s70.
