bmx9854
Any opinions on what company makes the best DP? I was thinking of getting the 3" EST DP which comes with a test pipe. And the rest of my exhaust would be 2.5" or 3" with just a muffler.
BlackT5
The EST pipes i've seen look like shit.See if you can find a local shop to fab up a turbo back exhaust for you, it will end up being much cheaper.
Krato'R'
+ 1. I had a full 3" turbo back (stainless steel) made at a Muffler shop for less than $600. Significant performance was felt afterwards. Screw Ipd, EST or Viva for their killer dp prices!!!!

bmx9854
Do exhaust shops do it in SS usually? I want something that will last...........how do i add pics to a post?
TM850R
You should be able to find a shop that does work with SS. If one shop doesnt, move on to the next.
Ipd
It's true, downpipes can be expensive. With the US dollar being so weak to the Swedish Kroner we can no longer import TME downpipes like we did in the past. The last straw on that camel has broken. So we are pursuing manufacturing right here in the states which should allow us to significantly reduce our downpipe costs. This means we can offer a stainless high flow dowpipe for around $695, perhaps a bit less...We're working with some manufacturers right now to finalize all the bits and pieces and we'll be starting by providing Dp's for 18T angle flange turbos (to go with our stage III kit) and then we'll go after the standard straight flange outlets of the 16T etc...I'll post up once they are done, just FYI. Chilled man
Have you ever heard of economy of scale?obviusly not 1 DP cost $800 dollars 20 DP cost $600 Dollars1 million cost $200 dollars the more you make more the costs of reserch and design and such can be spread over multiple units Since honda, VW and most others have such following parts are cheap unlike the volvo tunning group wich is pretty much us here and the wankers at SS thats it . oh and the guys at TB but there all broke from buying zipties and duct tape
