scout01
Question: I have the vehicle being looked at for small maintance work. When I first bought the car you actually can feel the turbo kick in, but now it's a lag in the acceleration and you don't feel the boost. We have checked the turbo by making sure it has not seized up and it is turning. We now are checking the boost sensor and the boost controller to see if they are faulty. Are next step is the boost pressure....any suggestions or answers. theForgottenone
Check to see if the wastegate got loosen. Do you have a boost guage, if so, how is the boost and it is holding. Check for vacumm line leak/damages.Clean the TB to see if there are an improvement in throttle response.btw, I have a stock 12T for sale.
echristodo
I have a 14T for sale If you had a bad boost pressure sensor or something like that it would be coding. However, you would not necessarily get a CEL for it, are you having your work done at a dealer?

He thinks the Turbo sensor is bad. The Turbo does turn by hand, no boost coming when flooring the car.
