Recommended Posts

Like the title states, I am looking to do the pcv job on my 95 850 turbo, I ordered the kit from fcp groton and I got it in and now I am just waiting for a good guide to help me through this. I have yet to find something with my searching skills but I apreciate anything you can provide as far as tips, guides, info, etc. Thanks in advance.

Happy to help another CT boy :)

There is a very good guide out there that someone posted. I just did the job on my car 2 weeks ago and the guide was very helpful. There are a couple of things I would add, and/or do differently next time. When you get ready to do the job, PM me and I'll give you my 2 cents.

In the meantime I'll take a look and see if I can find the link and let you know.

Thanks alot guys, I am about to go outside and try tackling this today, wish me luck!

for those odd looking clamps they are called oetiker clamps or something you should probably use one for the top of the oil box but the rest of them you could probably just use worm clamps

and you need this tool to clamp the oetiker clamps

Ok so I followed the guide and I still could not remove the intake manifold so I fully removed all of the bottom bolts and I tried to remove it again, this time I noticed that there was a pipe connected for the egr valve that was not mentioned in the write up so I removed that aswell and manifold will come off of the head about half an inch but I still can't get it completely off and out, any tips or tricks? am I possibly forgetting something?

I removed the bolt that holds the dip stick to the intake mani, I thought there was only one, maybe more?

IIRC the bracket that holds the dipstick is also connected to the manifold that one you have to reach up and under its a really pain in your ass just feel around down there you should be able to feel a bracket connected to the manifold
