Those Of You With Big Downpipes

Ultimately, it depends on the state you live in and how strict they are with emissions + inspections. Technically, (at least in FL), if you have modified your exhaust at ALL in any way from stock, it is "illegal." I don't know about your state, but obviously if you don't have a downpipe with a catalytic converter, it won't pass an emissions test.

What do you use to fool the ECU?

Also changing exhaust is not illegal. Tampering with emissions equipment in working condition is technically illegal. Changing a cat back is fine. Changing a working cat technically isn't fine.

We were talking about downpipes, so I kind of figured that was assumed.. :monkey:;)

PS: I hate this new forum setup.
