theunderlord
With having the bigger down pipe, does that make emissions impossible, depending on what state you live in of course. iPD claims there's is "for racing only" is that just a cover their jerk statement? TIA. - kevin.
Turbo Brick
Ultimately, it depends on the state you live in and how strict they are with emissions + inspections. Technically, (at least in FL), if you have modified your exhaust at ALL in any way from stock, it is "illegal." I don't know about your state, but obviously if you don't have a downpipe with a catalytic converter, it won't pass an emissions test.
JDELUNA
Also one of the reasons why most equipment is labled "FOR RACING ONLY" Or "FOR OFFROAD ONLY" Is that the manufacture does not have the time or money to get it CARB certified. laird
In the counties in Utah where emmision testing is required, they simply check it via the OBED II plug. If that is ok, you're on your way.
InlineTurbo
i run 3" catless all the way back←What do you use to fool the ECU?Also changing exhaust is not illegal. Tampering with emissions equipment in working condition is technically illegal. Changing a cat back is fine. Changing a working cat technically isn't fine.
