MyCarIsRed
QUOTE (matt b @ Apr 23 2008, 09:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I deleted the PM, but when Gary tried to turn the AC on his 97 with a 98 ECU, nothing happened. Not saying it won't crank, just saying it'll get warm. What about the 96 into a 97? I'd rather not lose the AC, it's not 110 up here but it gets plenty hot enough for me. Idealy i'd get a 97 t5 ecu but it was such a short run there prolly arent too many to be had...
cheapwagon
What about the 96 into a 97? :I don't think that was the issue just the 98 ecu was causing the A/C issue.
matt b
96 and 97 ECU's are the same thing, swap to your little heart's content!
Guest Guest_jbilyeu_*
had this problem with 97 na. indy mechanic put car on dyno to complete drive cycle--set readiness codes--cost $200. you can do it on the open road but i never had any luck. easier to just pay. thankfully Oregon now just sniffs exhaust of cars older that 10 years--no more readiness junk for me.
