MadeInJapan
Long story short but my hazard switch in the '98 S70 only works intermittently...this also effects the turn signals. I whack it and it works a bit longer. I'm going to pull it out tomorrow and see if it's just a connection/corrosion problem but might be needing a new one if it's whacked. I saw one one eBay tonight (which sold for about $10 plus shipping) but got back to the auction seconds after it ended...Arghhhh. Regret not being on top of that. Anyway, if someone has one of these laying around...has to work, like I said, I'll probably need one.850's don't work...they're different and go in the dash and not right above the ash tray like in my car.Just post back or PM me.Thanks,MIJ

MadeInJapan
if you dont end up getting the one from Chambs, i have one for $15 shipped in conusThanks guys...still haven't pulled it out yet but will today. I got some Langka products in the mail yesterday and ended up doing touch-up work on my exterior paint chips! This stuff is amazing! You can't tell you used any touch up paint when you're finished. Just google Langka if you're interested. Then today my serial to OBD2 cable came in the mail so I had to try out my laptop in my car...wow! That was fun..everything works great! So far, no blinker trouble but the car hasn't been hot either. This happened the other day and then yesterday after the car sat in a hot parking lot. I'll let you know about the switch today. MadeInJapan
Just went out and pulled it...contacts look clean...put it back in...once again it's not working...turn signals stay on without blinking. I tap it a few times and it works again. No doubt it's on its way out. So, Chambers, I'll go with you first...then if no go, to Jordan. Chambers, you have a PM. Remember that if yours is from an 850 it won't work on my car. MIJ
matt b
Dave, those relays go bad. Taping is a shot term fix, you're right to try to replace it.

Guest Guest_rhaire_*
Mine was real flaky, with a mind of its own as far as spontaneous light-up etc. I re-soldered with complete and lucky success. There are hundreds of solder points but I did the larger joints especially near the pusher end. Not a trace on an anomaly for a year.
