855 Badging

Well...

I finally got these badges installed.

Started two months ago, but it's just been too cold for an install.

It always feels good to finish something ya know.

I think it'll look better once I get some volvo white and do the bumper and tailgate handle.

so...whatcha think on that placement?

But i would lose the "G" and put the "T" next to the "855"

It looks like the "T" is a smaller font tho.

I would just lose the "GT" altogether. The gap where you have the 855 is almost too small, but looks good, IMO

Nope, same font. Maybe if I had a turbo I would have.

Agreed, it is snug. I thought long and hard about it. I just didn't want to put it back in the stock location.

If I could find a wing for under $200 I would.

For that $200 I'd rather get a skid plate to protect my underbelly.

I presently have no skid plate.

Last time I check IPD's was $205

Maybe I'll try fabbing one myself.

There wings are $199

I sanded the silver off of the originals and sprayed them with flat black.

I lightly sanded again, then sprayed a few more coats.

Slapped some 3M VHB tape on the back and xactoed off the excess.

Pretty simple.

PM 300+_T5R_855 he should have some in stock. and he quoted me $189.95 plus shipping a while back...
