If I was buying a P2 R I would insist on the Atacama/Orange. I love it! Especially with Gray, Silver, Blue, or Black as the exterior, or that light Blue-Green color. I did see one with Passion Red on Atacama, and those kind of clash, IMO.

Now I am biased (because I have it) but everyone who has ever ridden in my car which is black over Atacama loves it. More importantly, I love it. One thing I did to tone it down just a little bit is add the all season mats in charcoal which is perfect to my mind. But it's not just the color...it's more than that. It feels like a million bucks. Think about going into a really expensive luggage store. Pick out something that reeked of that awesome leather smell and felt like it was worth the ridiculously high asking price. That's essentially what I get to ride around in. And as for p1 vs. p2 R seats...that's tough and my car is very comfy. All in all, one of my favorite things about my car is the interior. And this leather commands a $1,550.00 premium over the already excellent R leathers of Gobi or Nordkap...and there's a reason.

Oh, and also, Flash Green was available in 2005 as well as 2004.

p1 R seats > p2 R seats.

you must be heavyset?

the p2 R seats are said to be the most comfortable seats in a car under 50k.

+1000000

i have seen a handful of flash green cars with painted moldings. (05)

you guys are just stuck in 850/70 land.

Mike is right :)

I drove an 07 S60R Graphite/Atacama just to get gas at the dealership recently and had someone comment on the interior, they said, "Is that orange leather?" and I said yeah but it's not mine, and they asked to see it closer and told me they were in love... Atacama and S60R or V70R are keywords to my next car in 4 years B)

Greg, you have excellent taste. Another plus I have noticed...guys like the color and might say something about it, but generally it's the ladies who really really love it.
