Jesus
I'm using a BlitzSafe unit to hook my iPod to an SC901 through the changer input.
bdimag
shouldn't be very hard to make yourself...you can buy a DIN connector for like 5 bucks, and both female RCA plugs (or even headphone jack) for the same or less..you can get away with not using it, but I would throw in a line level converter, because the plug on the ipod is speaker-level output (get around it by keeping the volume on the ipod LOW)and a little bit of testing to find out what it takes to get the radio to recognize there is something plugged in... might be as simple as having the speaker wires only, but may need a signal.. BEJinFBK
Not that easy...It's all about pins 7 and 8.You have to tell the HU who you are and what you want to get it to switch in the audio input. That's why there's Blitzsafe and USA/SPEC.There was a link for modifying the tape deckfor connecting an aux input, but it's a bit ofwork and it's kinda klunky. Instead of solderinga cable to my tape decks heads, I would ratherleave my HU stock and use a cassette adapter.

The BlitzSafe box tells the headunit that it's on track 99 of disc 1.

crazykn
The member who used to make the AUX in adapters is drlava. He would program a chip so that it would be able to communicate with the radio so that it is tricked into thinking a CD Changer is installed so that it accepts the audio input. He would program a chip so that it would be able to communicate with the radio so that it is tricked into thinking a CD Changer is installed so that it accepts the audio input. This is true. I still have the design and all of the information concerning assembly, diagrams, circuit boards, etc. Since I no longer have the time to build them, I'm looking for someone who is. You should be good at soldering and troubleshooting electronics. If anyone is interested in taking over this project, and building and selling them, and providing me a little commission for the design and coding, send me a PM with your past projects and experience, your goal for this project, and hopefully we can work something out. crazykn
^^^ I probably can do it, but I too don't have time anymore nowadays to tackle such a product. Sadly I even don't have much time anymore to build simple 6 DIN to RCA adapters anymore.
