850Base
Hello, I just picked up a 2004 S60R with the HU-803 headunit. The unit looks good, but I have an MP3 player (which is NOT an iPod) that I want to hardwire to the unit. FM transmitters suck in central Mass (finding a quiet FM band around here is a lost cause). Looking around I can see some options for the older, SC headunits but I need one for the HU series. Anyone had any luck with any adapters out there? It looks promising. I see that 01-07 S60s are listed on the compatibility list, but it's vague on which head-units.

Yea it looks like they're available all over the place, but none of them as low as the price on USA Spec's site. Did the DVD come directly from IPD or was it included with the USA Spec package? Might seem like a dumb question, I only ask because it doesn't seem to be listed on IPD's site anymore...What did you end up using for ground? 850Base
Does the video cover how to go about finding a ground? I'd hate to damage something else because I wasn't sure of what I was doing.

the commissar!
Hey, I got a USASpec PA!!-HON with adapter cable CBP VOL for my BD and am trying to do the install. The wires that plug in are no problem but one wire is identified as ACC+ (red) and the other is B+(yellow). Where do I connect those? The info sheet calls them 12" constant and switched leads. There is no information on which is which or where to connect them in my instruction book?! Help!ThanksMichael98 V70 T-
the commissar!
To answer my own question, near as I can tell the red ACC+ goes to a yellow w/lavender stripe wire on pin 13 and the red B+ goes to the green w/brown wire on either pin 4 or 12...
