Big Will
The European Rs sit so nicely stock. That's how my wagon sits now after putting on the Ohlins with Ohlins rear lowering springs and Volvo front lowering springs - I believe the springs on my car now are the ones that were standard on the car in Europe. So lucky...very nice car you have! Definitely be careful about rust under the carpets on the floor panels and on the seat tracks. I used to detail cars for a job and saw some pretty rough cars that had water sitting in them for a while.
Rex
Thanks for that NEU - I guess I just need to look harder!Mike G - thanks for the link - I tried 'phoning them but they can't be out of bed yet........looking at their site they're proposing a big brake kit with Porsche (Brembo) calipers.....they aren't of a Boxter are they? The reason I ask is that I fixed a damaged 1997 2.5 last year and the donor breaker back in the UK still has the front calipers....Big Will....Ohlins?Wow, you must have spent some wedge! I bet it handles like a dream though...
Big Will
You're right, I did spend a wad of cash for sure, but I got a pretty good deal on them. Honestly, the rear suspension was the same price as nivomats basically. It's only on the front that you run into spending a lot more money. It is a very good suspension though at all settings. It's always under control and even on the stiffest setting, it isn't bone-jarring.
Guest Guest_Josh_*
Thank-you Jv.Surely AWD doesn't suck that much You should see the thin, windy back-roads here....Regards,Rexold AWD systems sucked when the tires were different/unbalanced. replace all 4 tires at once and you shouldnt have any major problems with it.agreed, '98-'00 AWD's were "testy"
