Marzocchi Posted May 27, 2008 Report Share Posted May 27, 2008 Hi,I am doing an internship for a mining company and where I live at the moment, I am at 2000ft of altitude. Usually, my car idles at 18in-hg cool and 20in-hg hot. Since I picked my car at the train station, I get 16in-hg cool and 18 hot.Boost is also affected. It spools a little slower and it drops after the peak instead of staying steady. If I raise the boost level, I just get a higher spike and it drops almost where it was.I'm thinking the mbc is very sensitive to air density vs boost level but I am wondering if a boost leak happened.Is it possible I am getting misfires under wot and the boost is affected?
