Barry_C70 Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 I've been debating Audi style LED lights for a long time now, Ive seen them worked into the projector style headlights for the 70 cars and though that solution is pretty sweet, I still can't stand the project style over the OEM jewels that I have. Also lately, I forget who, but someone here used those flexible LED strips to make BMW style angel eyes, which wasn't quite my style but those strips inspired me to finally give it a shot.I received them today and wired them up on the outside of the headlights, tomorrow I will try to arrange them inside the lens, but from the looks of things, its gonna be pretty cool! I tried something unique (as is the WHOLE point of Project Sharon ) and I'm pretty happy so far. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe if you spaced them out a little bit more it would look awesome. But you definitely did a good job with it! Barry_C70 Posted May 29, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 29, 2008 one close up pic,seeing as the basic shape is still based on the Audi R8 headlight design, I don't really see them as antlers like everyone is saying, more so, I'm actually seeing them as angry eyes. BMW has the two circular angel eyes in either headlight, think of these as an angry look. And if you HAVE to think of them as antlers, think of them as horns Only the long strip is definitely gonna go along the bottom length and curve up around the outer edge of the low beam. The shorter strip I was planning to curve the same way as the longer strip, but now I'm thinking that maybe I'll curve it opposite to the longer strip so that it looks more like custom angel eyes.
