Starting a thread in the "show room" without pics = lame.

sorry, but don't like the S60 as a driver's car. my mom has one nonturbo manual, we take it on long trips to Kentucky. I'm 5 10 and the backseat is torture. also it's almost impossible to get a smooth launch with the clutch being so lurchy. steering wheel is too sensitive at highway speeds, slightest correction jerks passengers around. on the upside it looks fantastic inside and out, handles well, and stops on a dime. but in general, I just don't like how volvo make their new cars, the pedals, steering, it's all got a very dead feel to it.

N/A? That must be an older S60.

If there's one thing that's always been true about Volvo, it's that the first few years of a new model are terrible. However, they make improvements every year, and after a few years, they perfect the car.

I don't have a manual, so I can't say anything about the jerky launches, but I do know that my steering wheel is speed-sensitive, so it's extremely smooth on the highway. Plus, I'm 6'4" and I have no problem riding in the back of my car -- as long as the people up front don't have their seats pushed all or most of the way back, it's very comfortable back there.

Anyway, nice looking S60 you got there. It's just like my sister's car. My immediate suggestions are window tint and better rims -- I really don't like the stock 16s they put on S60s o.O
