early_november
Hi guys & gals,Light mildew/sock smell when the fan is turned on, a/c or outside, and it just last 5 seconds or so and it is just when the fan starts up not prolonged when running.Replaced cabin filter, cleaned the area with chemicals, sprayed Quest A/C clean in that cabin air intake.Think I found the drain for the A/C, completely clear, no blockage. Pink circle pushes out cold air but never any water after 15 minutes of a/c on. Did I find the right drain? My car should be making a puddle of water right? Any other suggestions? I use Ozium the original smells like ginger. It's glycolized based disinfectant. Gets out many odors and kills amphids in my car. When I get a spider infestation I bomb the car with a half a bottle and close the windows and let it sit over night. I get a bug free car in the moring, smells nice too. Removes the smoke smell from the AC if cigarette's are involved. Try that. I have lots of luck with it.

early_november
I'll try this Ozium, I should have done this when I replaced the carpet on my 855 I didn't end up getting the Ozium, got the A/C cleaner stuff at the local auto store. Sprayed the whole can up the intake (recirculate flap) and it seems to have done the trick. Funny thing my A/C never drips while car is running, it does it later after I leave the car.
