I'd like to retain the use of the cd changer for my wife and also be able to control my ipod with the head unit also. Someone here has to know how to do this, I'd like to get the USA SPEC kit for the ipod. Idea suggestions????????

MAYBE with a 13 pin DIN A/B switch, but no promises!

Unless you're REALLY good (or know somebody who is)

...It ain't gonna happen.

I did have a A/B switch for my 850. After I got my S70 (because the 850 was totalled) I didn't bother with the switch and dismantled it (because I didn't need a CD Changer since I had a CD player now).

Actually what I did was wire up a switch and relay to switch between the CD Changer and the Blitzsafe adapter. The Blitzsafe adapter was built into the switch itself and a secondary port for my Alpine CD Changer.

Here is some pictures and a diagram of the CD Changer pinout:

I found this from a place in the UK, see 'CD Changer Retention' down at the bottom in the first link. I'd just prefer to buy it from someplace closer to home. The second link says 'This interface will not display text on your radio' same product, Gateway 100, just for a VW. I would like the CD Changer Retention'.
