MTPOCKITS Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 Sorry i don't have any pictures, i was doing a volvo test here and ran across these wheels on a new 2009 v70 they are 18" 5 spoke and the spokes have twist in them like a propeller, they look like the cats meow. TBM Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 I don't know what opinion to have about those wheels.They do look like the Porsche wheels except that the spokes in the new Volvo wheels aren't straight, but the spokes in the Porsche wheels are. hgray14 Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 I was never a huge fan of the Pegs although people do seem to like them on my Yellow 850 T-5Rs. Even non-Volvo folks ask me about them all the time. I think those new ones look pretty good but sure do remind me of the stock turbo wheels from the mid 1990's. I am still sold pretty much on Volans. I think they look great especially with a tinted windows but then again, I like a car that looks clean but doesn't stand out to much (I know, kinda funny from a guy with two Yellow T-5Rs...); not a big fan of a flashy car...I drive too fast and too many miles for that. ...plus, nobody tells me what is out and what is in. I have never been driven by what the Joneses do. Someone once tried to tell me double-breasted suits were out. That is kind of funny because when I don one of the many ones that I have from back in my corporate days even strangers tell me how good they look and want to know where I bought them.
