lookforjoe
For now. Just noticed that your MAF is mounted upside down - not good - it needs to be within about 20º of vertical - up top - to prevent moisture accumulation....

gilber33
So jealous. It makes it so much easier that you have a standalone. I really want to re-do mine. But just the thought of cutting the harness in half to relocate the ECUs to the glove box makes me cringe. Where did you pass the wires through from the interior? s_moneh
None of the wires actually go inside the cabin, all the wires in the engine bay get put through the fusebox before it enters the cabin. so its soo easy to run, mind you its more harder with the stock ecu and all that wiring. So i just put it all in the cowel part up top. soldered and shrink wrapped and that abs line you see caulked by the tower, i ran it through the tower to go with the tuck, your left with sooo much more slack after doing that, thats also why its looped. Also i'm kind of cheesed i used so much more wire then i needed but i was scared of running short wire feeding t through the frame butit all works right now so i'm satisfied, i might shorten the wiring later on if i'm bored
gilber33
Yeah, that's my issue. It's the main engine harness from the ECU that I have to deal with. I would have to relocate the ECUs inside or something. So I would have to extend the entire harness.
s_moneh
i'll be straight. when i built the motor and what not i got rid of alot of the wiring to begin with. so i was semi tucked for a better tuck later. but from what i had it legit took me 8 hours for just that one side. i cant imagine the amount of time it would take to do the other side with more wires or even if the ecu is there. AND imagine screwing up somewhere in the middle, i would probably cry

All the relays are relocated in the fender, head light harness in front of the radiator tucked into the headlight bracket thing, Battery reloacted to the trunk.
