Quick Question Need Answer Someone!

So okay 3'' exhaust no cat gotta go do emissions today, I have 3 o2 bungs, 2 of them are like a couple inches apart and one is after the test pipe..so I'd fail emissions without a cat because of the check engine light...I was going to put a couple anti foulers drilled out in the o2 bung and then attach my o2 sensor so that I could get less air to the o2 sensor but I don't have enough room on the rear o2 sensor. I have enough room to do it at the o2 bung thats like right behind the front o2 sensor can I do that? so it'd be first o2 sensor then 2 inches of pipe and then my rear o2 sensor but it'd be spaced away from the pipe so it'd get less air to it like I have a cat. and then I'd plug my original rear o2 hole...do that work?!

Well they don't use a sniffer just a obd2 reader. My 2 o2 sensors will be within a couple inches of each other but the rear will be spaced out from the pipe so it won't get as much air as the front, thus hopefully taking away the check engine light. Just wondering if it's okay for the 2 o2 sensors to be kinda close to eachother, as long as the rear isn't getting as much air as the front.

You can run your sensors close to each other, no issue there. Are you getting a code for the cat being removed ?

put your cat back and pass emissions and stop poluting the air. I thought we talked about that like 2-3 years ago. Without cat 2nd o2 sensor will give you a CEL.

yea but just cause the o2 sensor in the rear is getting too much air, I would love to replace my cat if I had one to put there but I don't. Hopefully this will work. Thanks

I'll be pulling my current cat off soon, PM me if you still need cat next week, I'd be willing to sell it and ship it.

Well hopefully I'll pick that cat up if I don't pass. Yea I put it in OT cause more people look at this. Well I put the spacer on, cleared the codes but the car turned on with the CEL still on, not sure why might swing by Advanced Auto and see what the codes say.

After I unhook the battery and let it sit for 10+ minutes should I drive it around to see if the CEL is cleared?

Yeah. But the CEL will come back.

As long as it doesn't come back before the stupid emissions people look at it I really don't care.
