potroast
MUCH worse.Do not get pre-fab boxes. they're never good. Build a box specifically for the sub, amp, location, and types of music you listen to.
T5RacerV
could it also be that I made the SMALLEST little hole in the rubber with the drill?
Bing_0
i would say not all prefab boxes have to sound abd, if its correctly built pre fab, and its of the right airspace for hte particular sub, then it can sound perfectly fine.as to why your sub sounds bad, what sub do you have? and how big of a box did you stick it in? and yes, if htere is a hole int he surround it could make a flapping sound as air escapes through the tear, and it is alsoa an air leak in your box whcih is bad.b

Box behind the rear seat, in the spare tire well, on the side, etc. etc. I need a general idea of what you are looking for, let me know I will help you in anyway possible. bitjockey
My 12" Q-Logic sounds pretty good, IMO. I've heard custom installations that don't sound as clean or tight.
