NGB
They filmed most of this movie in Worcester, using the old courthouse. I drove by it several times.
drPheta
Geez, what's with all these movies filming in Mass? Back in April, the quarries in Quincy were partially closed off for filming for some comedy. I guess The Rock in Plymouth has some promising future afterall. Back in April, the quarries in Quincy were partially closed off for filming for some comedy. I guess The Rock in Plymouth has some promising future afterall.Massive tax breaks for the industry, and the local teamsters union was forced to loosen their retarded stance which had caused the movies to all leave some years ago. There's been over a dozen movies filming in eastern mass this year already, and you can expect the trend to continue for at least a few more years. There's also talks to build a huge soundstage near fall river.
Fudge_Brownie
We went down to the Hopedale site a week ago. Can't really see too much. The officer was friendly and almost seemed equally as interested in the filming. We hung around for a bit, saw them move around a old Boston cruisers, saw some smoke in the distance, and a bunch of people wonder around the back of the set but that was it.The officer/crossing guard for the day told us that they supposedly had over 300 extras bussed in for that day's filming. There's bright orange VSI signs on rt 16 set up leading you to their lunch break camp area for those around here.
drPheta
Yeah, The Rock Studios already got the "Yes" vote from the Plymouth residents. It seems like it's going to materialize in the near future.
